AMC+ has released the official trailer for the animated sci-fi drama series Pantheon from showrunner Craig Silverstein
The series centers on Maddie (Chang), an abused teenager who receives mysterious help from someone online. The stranger is soon revealed to be her recently deceased father, David (Kim), whose consciousness has been uploaded to the cloud following a destructive experimental brain scan.
David is the first of a new type of being: a "downloaded intelligence" or UI, but he won't be the last, as a global conspiracy is taking shape that threatens to unleash a new kind of world war.
The series features the voices of Daniel Dae Kim, Paul Dano, Katie Chang, Rosemarie DeWitt, Aaron Eckhart, Taylor Schilling, Ron Livingston, Raza Jaffrey, Scoot McNairy, Anika Noni Rose and Maude Apatow.
The series Pantheon will be available for streaming on September 1 with the first two episodes. Craig Silverstein is the showrunner.
